Marc Poulson is the Director of Finance for American Power Ventures, where he oversees the firm’s finance and economic modeling related activities. Mr. Poulson has participated in the successful development and financing of over 2,000 MW of power generation projects in the US and Canada.
Before joining APV, Mr. Poulson was a member of the finance team at Competitive Power Ventures. At Competitive Power Ventures, Mr. Poulson was responsible for the financial structuring and proposal preparation of new development projects, management of existing project capitalization efforts and assistance with the financing of the company’s acquisition-related endeavors.
Mr. Poulson has twenty years of experience in the energy sector starting with the Enron Corporation. At Enron, Mr. Poulson held roles as an Analyst and Associate in the Principal Investments group where he focused on the screening, evaluation and origination of investments in energy intensive industries.
Mr. Poulson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Morehouse College.
